• Examined Outpatient Trauma as well as Orthopaedics Cases.

• Investigated as needed and prepared the cases for Day Care Surgery

• Presented cases to the Assistant Professor and Professor

• Took Class for the Undergradutes

Treatment Room

Did the following Procedures initially under supervision and later individually

• Dressing of Wounds,

• Plaster of Paris Application,

• Plaster of Paris Removal,

• External Fixator Alignment etc

• Application of Skin Traction

• Application of Skeletal Tractions

• Cast Conversion formed the other main works

Orthopaedic Wards

• Assisted the Professor and Assistant Professors in Ward Work.

• Went for Rounds, examined and noted the progress of the patients

• Did the following Procedures initially under supervision and later individually

  • Dressing of Wounds

  • Excision of Slough

  • Adjusting the Traction Weight based on the need

• Prepared the cases for the Elective Theatre, explained to the patients the risks and benefits of the surgery

Emergency Room / Accident and Trauma Ward

• Attended one 24 hour duty at the Accident and Trauma Ward every week

• Attended Outpatient and Inpatient Cases

• Managed Oupatient Cases like the ones listed below initially under supervision of Assistant professors and later individually

  • Fractures and Disclocation of Upper Limb like Colle's Fracture,

  • Supra Condylar Fracture etc and

  • Injuries of Lower Limb like Fracture Metatarsals and Dislocations

• Resuscitation of

  • Accident and Polytrauma cases

  • Multiple Injuries, and

  • Fracture of Lower Limbs like Fracture Femer and Tibia

• Did the following Procedures initially under supervision and later individually

  • Emergency Debridement

  • Reduction of Fractures in the Trauma Ward

  • Reduction of Dislocations under Anaesthesia

  • Open Reduction in theatre

  • Open Reduction and Internal Fixation

• Investigated and Prepared the cases for the theatre

• Explained to the patient the risks and benefits of the surgery and other modalities of treatment

Academic

• Active Participant in Seminars, Symposia, Clinical Society Meetings and Case Presentations.
